CM OIC Secures $1.58B to Capitalize on Infrastructure Credit Ops

Post by admin »

Image OIC has closed its fourth credit opportunities fund at approximately $1.58 billion, exceeding its $1.1 billion target and highlighting continued investor appetite for middle-market infrastructure credit strategies.  OIC Credit Opportunities Fund IV will focus on providing flexible, structured capital to operating companies with resilient cash flows and strong downside protection, targeting opportunities across energy, digital infrastructure and logistics. The fund attracted broad institutional support, with a re-up rate of approximately 90% from prior investors while also expanding its global base with new commitments from the U.S., Middle East, Europe and Asia.  The vehicle is already well underway in deployment, with more than 30% of capital committed across five seed investments. These include partnerships with Eagle LNG, a small-scale LNG platform; Shaw, a port and terminal facility near Lake Charles; DartPoints, a regional data center operator; and Gevo North Dakota, a renewable fuels platform spanning ethanol production, carbon capture and renewable natural gas.  “Today’s environment is particularly compelling in the middle-market, with strong demand for capital across infrastructure subsectors creating attractive opportunities for disciplined investors able to provide flexible, structured capital solutions,” said Ethan Shoemaker.  Latham & Watkins LLP served as legal counsel to OIC and the fund.  The post OIC Secures $1.58B to Capitalize on Infrastructure Credit Ops appeared first on Connect Money.
